Corn Bhel





Ready in a jiffy, Spicy, tangy tasty and absolutely delectable. This one is high on nutrition, low on calories and an absolute favourite with all. With the rainy season round the corner, who can resist this simple yet mouth-watering snack. Prepared with just a few ingredients, I hope you all enjoy this recipe .

INGREDIENTS :

Sweet corn kernels 1 Bowl 
Onion 1 medium sized
tomato 1 medium sized 
Mint Chutney  (Fine paste of Mint, green chillies, coriander salt and lemon juice)
Sweet tamarind chutney (Dates n tamarind paste)
Finely chopped coriander 
Crushed shev puris or chana chor or doritos or spicy peanuts (For the crunch) I personally prefer the chana chor as it has a tangy taste of its own.
Nylon shev 1/2 bowl 
Salt to taste

METHOD:

1. Boil the sweet corn kernels in water. Add a little salt while boiling.
2. Drain the water and keep aside.
3. Chop the onions and tomatoes finely.
4. Add the onions, tomatoes, mint paste, tamarind chutney as per your taste.
5. Mix well. Add salt if required.
6. Add crushed peanuts/chanachor/puris or whatever suits you (For the crunch)
7. Garnish with nylon shev and chopped coriander .
8. Sweet corn chat or Bhel is ready to be served.
