Mint Chutney




Bright green paste of mint, coriander n chillies. This ready in a jiffy chutney is also easy to store. Serves as an excellent accompaniment to various snacks like pakoras, samosas, Bhel etc. Its always handy to make this chutney and keep it ready for those last minute hunger pangs. I always have a small jar of this chutney stored in my deep freezer. A very easy recipe is given below . So go ahead and enjoy all the snacks . 

INGREDIENTS :

Small bunch of Mint leaves . (Around 2 bowls of mint leaves)
Small bunch of coriander leaves (Around 1 bowl of coriander leaves)
Green chillies 8 to 10 nos. (Can be adjusted as per taste)
Salt to taste
Juice of 1 lemon (To retain bright green colour of the chutney)

METHOD:

1. Clean and chop the mint and coriander leaves roughly.
2. In a mixer , mix all ingredients and adding little water make a smooth paste.
3. Your Mint chutney is ready and can be stored for few months in the deep freezer.
4. Remember to remove it from the deep freezer at least 30 mins prior to use but even if you forget you can thaw it in the microwave .
